Ideas
Crazy?
This 45 Videoz Project is pretty "crazy" and there a couple of reasons why:
Money:
we have no advertising revenue since this site is being launched less than 90 days before Election Day. Each page_view has a digital price attached and we have no money. Oh well...Doxxing:
we hope to remain anonymous and not get doxxed but it is a possibility. Oh well..Cashflow:
if digital costs exceed digital donations, we might have to shut the site down leading to many subsequent error messages which would be heartbreaking. Oh well...
Faith
We have faith that thousands of digital supporters of democracy with a few shares per day could bring hundreds of thousands of page_views and have a desirable effect on the election outcomes. And with some strategic moves/ideas, we can arrive at several million or even tens of millions of page_views per day pretty quickly.
Strategic Moves
If you are reading this, then it is obvious that we went forward with this pretty "crazy" idea and we thank you for your efforts and digital activities. So here are some ideas to counter social media disinformation "trails" with the 45 Videoz Project:
- Email a link to this site plus a written pitch (re: social media asset to counter disinformation) to a number of political activist groups and invite them to email it out to their supporters. Here is a link to 500 Leading US Progressive Organizations.
- Drop a comment on social media posts of popular accounts to populate the comments sections with sixpacks to counter disinformation comments issued automatically by bots.
- multiple sixpack shares by different users can increase the possibility of more new visitors and lead to more shares of these 45 videoz.
- drop comments with a sixpack on social media of users from both sides of the political aisle expanding the awareness of these video collections and one's ability to join in the pushback against disinformation.
- Add a sixpack link to your posts in support of our nation's future and citizen rights. For example, if you are writing a post about Project 2025, you can add this **sixpack link to add substance your post.
- Add effective #hashtags to your posts to increase potential viewership.
Big Picture
Anger
and Fear
can temporarily impair cognitive functions that contribute to Intelligence
and IQ
.
When a person experiences strong emotions like anger or fear, the brain's amygdala, responsible for processing emotions, becomes highly active. This can trigger the "fight-or-flight"
response, diverting resources away from the prefrontal cortex, the brain area responsible for higher-order thinking, planning, and decision-making. This can result in:
Reduced working memory:
Difficulty holding and manipulating information in mind.Impaired attention and focus:
Trouble concentrating on tasks or filtering out distractions.Decreased problem-solving abilities:
Less effective at finding solutions to complex problems.Increased impulsivity:
More likely to act without considering consequences.
Research supporting these effects:
- Where Did My IQ Points Go? | Psychology Today: This article discusses how strong emotions like fear and anger can hijack the brain, leading to decreased cognitive function and impaired decision-making.
- Angry people are more likely to overestimate their intelligence, study finds - PsyPost: This research suggests that anger can lead to overconfidence and impaired judgment, potentially impacting one's ability to accurately assess their own intelligence.
- Emotional Intelligence Is a Buffer Against Destructive Anger | Psychology Today: This article explores the role of emotional intelligence in managing anger and highlights how uncontrolled anger can negatively impact cognitive abilities.
It's important to note that these effects are typically temporary. Once the intense emotions subside, cognitive functions usually return to normal levels. However, chronic or frequent experiences of intense anger and fear can have long-term consequences for cognitive health and overall well-being.
Divide and Conquer
This is their tactic: the invalidation of others
, by denying or dismissing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, serving as a potent tool for creating divisiveness. This tactic operates on the principle of 'divide and conquer'
, where undermining individual self-worth and sowing seeds of discord within a group paves the way for easier manipulation and control. By fostering an environment where people feel unheard and undervalued, it becomes simpler to pit them against each other, eroding trust and solidarity. This fragmentation ultimately benefits those seeking to exploit these divisions for their own gain, be it in political, social, or even personal contexts.
45 Videoz Sixpacks
can also be a potent tool if used by many concerned citizens online.
